Born and raised in Virginia, Kristina Martin graduated with a Theatre degree from The College of William and Mary in 2014. While in attendance, she worked as the Wardrobe Supervisor on productions such as MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, DANCING AT LUGHNASA, EVENING OF DANCE, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, THE COAST OF UTOPIA, and CLYBORNE PARK. She has also worked with Virginia Shakespeare Festival on JULIUS CEASAR and ELYRIA. In August 2014, she moved to the DC area to take a job as the Resident Costume Designer for the NextStop Theatre Company in Herndon, VA. She remained Resident Designer until Summer 2016. In her time there, she has designed MISS ELECTRICITY, SYLVIA, CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, GUTENBERG!, LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, THE SECRET GARDEN, A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS, ALADDIN, KISS ME KATE, NO SPRING CHICKEN, DEATHTRAP, SEUSSICAL, MIDDLETOWN, CRIMES OF THE HEART, SNOW WHITE, CITY OF ANGELS, EURYDICE, WILLY WONKA, BOEING BOEING, URINETOWN, DISGRACED, ASSASSINS, WIZARD OF OZ, BAD JEWS, and THE WOLVES. Summer 2015 was spent as the Wardrobe Supervisor for Infinity Theatre Company, working on RING OF FIRE and BABY! THE MUSICAL. Summer 2016 and 2017 she joined Tony Award Winning Infinity Theatre Company again as their Costume Designer and Wardrobe Supervisor on ALMOST HEAVEN, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, GODSPELL, and A CLOSER WALK WITH PATSY CLINE. She has also worked on productions with Shakespeare Theatre Company, Silver Spring Stage, Studio Theatre, Theatre Prometheus, bel Cantanti Opera Company, Urban Arias, Keegan Theatre, Washington National Opera, Brave Spirits Theatre, Land and Hungry Theatre Company, 4615 Theatre, Catholic University, Towson University, and Forum Theatre Company. Summer 2018 and 2019 were spent in Sonoma, California with Transcendence Theatre Company as Resident Designer and Shop Manager. Transcendence Theatre Company produced its first full stage musical Summer 2019, with A Chorus Line. This production earning the Best Costume Design from Broadway World Bay Area.
